  The Team - Biography
William A. Holland

Bill Holland has been in the forefront of grooming business leaders for more than 30 years. His career in the senior executive suite of multi-billion dollar companies includes retail, mixed-use real estate development and ownership, entertainment and career management industries. Founder and leader of the worldwide senior executive consulting practice for Drake Beam Morin (DBM) he guided hundreds of CEO’s and corporate officials in career decisions and leadership strategies. He oversaw operations and human resources for one of the nation’s largest mixed-use real estate developers, Urban Investment and Development Company, developers and owners of resorts, shopping centers, Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons Hotels, and office towers nationwide. Their properties also included 20th Century Fox Studios, Pebble Beach, and Aspen Skiing Company, among others. Earlier in his career Bill had human resources responsibility for thousands of Sears headquarters employees.

He practices what he preaches when it comes to organizational transformation, leadership development, and customer service. An executive coach and counselor to Fortune 500 executives and entrepreneurs, Bill has provided real-world guidance to drive progressive changes in the business culture, leadership philosophies and strategies to gain optimal value out of a business’s most valuable asset – its people.

His interest in education gave rise to an avocation in which he is currently engaged. He co-founded “Power Hour”, a tutoring program for inner-city children which, by formal resolution, Chicago’s Mayor and City Council paid tribute for improving student’s reading and writing skills. He has served as Chairman and President of numerous school and community boards of directors, including the University of Wisconsin Business School Advisory Board. He is a former member of the Chicago Association of Commerce and Industry, the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, the American Management Association, the Human Resource Management Association, the Economic Club of Chicago, the University Club of Chicago, and the Tower Club.

Mr. Holland holds a BA from the University of California at Los Angeles, and also attended Northwestern University in Evanston.
